Follow these instructions exactly as written. Don't try to short cut any of the steps. Use the above links to find the firmware for your printer. Download the full firmware from Samsung's website.Unzip the file and upload it to a USB drive or email it to yourself. Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cable from both outlets. You will need a Phillips screwdriver or a small knife to remove the two screws located on top of the unit. Open up the top panel by lifting up on either side of it and then gently wiggle it back and forth until you can pull it out of its track, but do NOT pull too hard as you may break something inside. You can close the unit by gently pulling it back until it clicks into place. Turn the printer so that the front is facing you and move to the right until you can see a small LCD screen right behind where you would put your paper. Use your fingers to press and hold both buttons labeled "OK" at the same time for approximately 5 seconds, then release them. You will now see three options on the LCD screen. They are "Firmware Update", "Reset Firmware", and "Language". Move down to select "Reset Firmware". You will now see some options on your screen, including a button labeled "Execute". Select that button with your arrow key. You will now see a message on the screen indicating "Firmware Update started... Please wait...", and the printer will turn off. Now we need to download and update the firmware. To do this we need to open Windows Explorer and navigate to the USB drive. Right click on the drive and select: "Copy". Then go back to where you were at before and navigate to: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Samsung\\SoftwareUpdate; Once there; Right click again; Select: "Paste". When you get to the end of that path, you should see a file called "csc.exe". That's what we want. cfa1e77820
